“Beggars of Blacksand” by Al Sander has been republished in the Hosted section of the Play area as a Turn-To adventure.

“The Strange Case of the Bodies in the Docks” by Simon Osborne has been republished to play in the Hosted section of the Play area as a ‘turn-to’ only adventure.

I have re-entered “The Wrath of Cain” by Ramsay Duff as a turn-to only adventure in the hosted section.

The tag alterations went smoothly this time.  All existing uppercase tags in all references have been changed to lowercase.

Backup wasn’t working with new system, fixed.

I will shortly be attempting to convert all  uppercase ABML tags to lowercase tags  in all gamebook references.  Since this was what caused me to accidentally wipe every file yesterday morning fingers and toes are all crossed.  Please do not attempt to use the editor during this time, as your changes may be lost.  I will update this post when I have finished.

“A Midwinter Carol”, by Kieran Coghlan has been republished to play in the Hosted section.  It has been fully coded up, and should be 100% playable (no rules or instructions omitted), however I have yet to test all the references and there may be bugs.  Please let me know.

I am reverting the Gamebooks data to 25/3/11.  Please do not attempt to create new references for at least 2 hours while this takes place.

Well it had to happen one day.

I’ve acidentally wiped all references in all books to empty files.  I have a backup going back 3 weeks or so, and will endeavour to recover the files to this state.  Ths means all the recently published work has also been lost.

Bugger.

Update:

System had a backup on the 25/3/11.  Am recovering Accounts to that date.  Any work since then is lost.  On the plus side it only took me a week to input 7 amateur adventures in turn to format… hopefully I shall be able to have those back online by next Saturday.
