Technical problems
Sign ups are currently not working due to a technical issue I was unaware of – apologies to anyone attempting to sign up recently and meeting frustration. I am working on this as fast as I can.
Fantazine #10 Available
Fantazine #10 has been released and is now available to download. See www.fightingfantazine.co.uk or use the download link here.
War of Deities added
A new Turn-To only adventure (you will currently have to track your own stats), War of Deities by Stuart Lloyd has been added to the collection. It’s a biggie at 400 references, and I aim to make this the next encoded adventure.
Fantazine #9 Released
Fighting Fantazine #9 has been published, visit the home site www.fightingfantazine.co.uk or download it here. The latest issue features interviews with artist Ian Miller, a new 275 reference adventure Return to the Icefinger Mountains by Ed Jolley and illustrated by Brett Schofield, an article on gamebooks in Germany by Nicolai Bonczyk (with translation by Alexander Kühnert), and an Advanced Fighting Fantasy adventure: Andrew Wright’s The Hunt for the Black Whale (illustrated by Michael Wolmarans).

2 New Adventures
A Handful of Dust by Zachary Carango is now available to play in the Hosted adventures section – most significantly this is the first fully encoded non-Fighting Fantasy rules adventure. Also The Dead World by Ulysses Ai has been published as a turn-to only adventure. Enjoy 🙂
3 New Adventures & Revenge of the UTF8 bug
3 New adventures have been published, Debacle at Dead Mans Inn and Isle of the Cyclops by Andrew Wright, and The Golden Crate by Ulysses Ai. Debacle is fully encoded while Cyclops and Crate are at this stage Turn-To only. Also it seems the utf-8 character encoding issues which I thought to be banished are still maing themselves a pain in the arse in one adventure at least, sorry.
The Cold Heart of Chaos published
A new adventure, ‘The Cold Heart of Chaos‘ written by Al Sander has been encoded and published to play as a fully interactive adventure. The usual HTML version and Flowchart graph is also available to view on the information page as well as the source documents. The whole process took 1 day using the ABML system and tools avaialable here at fightingfantasy.org.
