Small error in my new system prevented SEL libraries from being saved.  Sorry about that,  It’s fixed now (though I have yet to test filenames with spaces or underscores.  It’s all because of PhP not liking spaces in POST data field names….)

‘Welcome to Blackheart Asylum’, by Julius Lee is now availaable to play as a turn-to adventure, and features a unique gaming system which I plan to implement at some point (once I have written up required SEL library for it).

The Yaethyr Cycle:  The Achaeid Book 1:  The Enriyes by Ramsay Duff

Is now available to play in the Gamebooks hosted section, currently only implemented as a ‘turn to’ adventure.

Have implemented a bunch of changes for adventure writers, mostly directed at xml conversion please check the forum Development News for full list of changes.  And I apologise for any hiccups that may have been experienced today and recently generally using the system – I haven’t implemented a testbed yet so any mistakes I make are generally ‘live’.  Let me know if there are any errors/discrepancies you are encountering that I don’t know about.

Making a major change to the system.  Hopefully you wont see any problems but it’s very likely you will.  Fingers crossed.

Gamebooks back online

Gamebooks will be offline for a short while while I attempt some changes to the filesystem.

Well I’ve finally made a stab at actually documenting the Hosted SEL libraries, hopefully it is now a bit clearer how to go about doing some of the complex stuff involved in gamebook making here.  Any suggestions for other documentation let me know (I do hope to do an ‘Idiots Guide’ at some point for the basic stuff).

The PaperDoll Library while technically documented still needs a general usage guide as it’s not self-evident how to use it.

Some browsers may have had trouble with Username/SID not matching errors when trying to use the play area after logging in here.  Hopefuly this has been resolved (my phone browser kept complaining anyway and I’ve sorted it)
